The Competition took place at Chennai Convention Centre on Saturday 7th July 2018. 2000 students participated in the competition and the floating crowd was 5000 plus. The hall was full of pin drop silent when the whistle was blown to start the competition. The students finger’s danced on the abacus with unusual speed and ticked one right answer provided below 3 answers for each sum. Batch after batch students walked into the hall and they were assisted by Indian Abacus Guides.
The dignitaries on the dias Honerable Minister for Fisheries & Personnel and Administrative Reforms Thiru D Jayakumar, The KMBF Limited & Vice Chairman, All India Chamber of Nidhi, Mr.Rama Ramanathan, Chairman and former Member of Legislative Assembly, and Senior Advocate, Madras High Court Mrs. Hema Sampath were welcomed by Mr.N.Basheer Ahamed, Chairman and Managing Director, Indian Abacus Pvt Ltd and Inventor of Indian Abacus.
The dignitaries were honoured with bouquet and memento by Mr.N.Basheer Ahamed, CMD and Inventor of Indian Abacus. Other overseas franchisees, state master franchisees, school centre dignitaries,, Unit Franchisees were present on the occasion.
The competition ended at 1 PM subsequently prize distribution ceremony was held. The Champion of Champion is awarded and selected 6 winners in each group in each level totaling 200 prizes.0ver all 700 prizes were distributed including Champion of Champion in each level, Champions in each level and in each group. Awards were given to Best Performing Franchisees and also to Best Tutors.
Students from major cities & towns such as Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, Salem, Erode, Tuticorin, Cochin, Kottayam, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Godhra, Hyderabad and also from various school students participated in the competition and won prizes.
