Kailash & Sahana win big at the Chennai city finale of the 12th edition of the Everyuth Times Fresh Face


Winners will be trained and prepared for the national finale to be held in Mumbai

Chennai,10th  December 2019: The Times of India joined hands with Everyuth Naturals for the 12th edition of its marquee talent-hunt platform – Fresh Face Season 12. Touted as India’s largest inter-college talent hunt, the national platform brings forth and puts the spotlight on the talented youth of the country. Spread across 10 cities with 150+ colleges and mall auditions, this year’s competition went a notch higher with gruelling semi-finales and city finales, which will choose 20 national finalists. The Chennai City Finale took place at Phoenix Market City Mall in Chennai and concluded with Kailash and Sahana winning the city finale round.

Kailash with his incredible infectious charm won the hearts of the judges while Sahanaenthralled the jury with her powerful performance. The participants were judged based on their talent, skills, personality, body language and general awareness on current affairs, etc. by the esteemed panel of judges including popular actors Mahat Raghavendra and Yashika Aannand..

Speaking about the talented lot at the city finale round, celebrated actor, Mahat Raghavendra said, “The main reason for me being here today is Chennai Times. Just like how they have been supporting fresh young talents, I was also supported when I entered the cinema industry. The most important aspect for an artist is the response he/she receives from the audience and it’s great to see a lot of energy from the crowd for this show.“

Adding on the popular actress, YashikaAannandsaid, “A  platform like this is required where people do not have enough support from parents or family. This kind of show should be encouraged more so youngsters can showcase their talent and be successful.“

These fabulous young talents will be flown to Mumbai for an intensive boot camp where they will be mentored by ace directors, actors, choreographers, fashion stylists, and grooming experts. The national finale will see participants compete with one another, where judges will choose the freshest face and brightest talent of the country. India’s largest collegian talent-hunt platform, Fresh Face, has created waves across the nation as it has garnered 100,000 participation since it’s inception. This year, the platform introduced a new format called – Audition Hubs held across centralized locations in each of the 10 cities in addition to the regular college auditions.
