Sportorama, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu State Amateur Kickboxing Association (TNSKA), is proud to announce the launch of the first-ever Kickboxing Super League (KBSL) 2025, to be held at the Kalaignar Boxing Academy, Gopalauram, on October 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2025.

This pioneering event marks a significant milestone in Tamil Nadu’s sporting landscape, bringing kickboxing to center stage in a team-based league format designed to captivate audiences and elevate the sport’s visibility across the state.
The Kickboxing Super League officially announces the team rosters and competitive categories for its highly anticipated new season. Five dynamic teams will participate, each featuring 12 exceptional athletes—one for every official weight division. The league will showcase 60 athletes across a diverse set of weight categories, ensuring balanced gender representation and thrilling competition.

DRA Dashers – Owned by Ranjeet Rathod, DRA Homes
Salem Superstars – Owned by Ilios Digital
Trichy DSU Veerans – Owned by Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University
Adissia Chennai Titans – Owned by Mr. Manigandan, Adissia Developers The innovative league format has been designed to:
Showcase the high skill level and competitiveness of Tamil Nadu’s kickboxing athletes.
Engage spectators through structured, team-based matchups.
Attract greater media attention and popularize kickboxing as a mainstream sport.
Lay the foundation for the future growth of kickboxing as a professional and widely followed sporting discipline in India.
Celebrating Tamil Nadu’s Kickboxing Champion:
As part of the KBSL 2025 celebrations, the event will also honour and felicitate Tamil Nadu’s recent international champions who brought glory to the nation at prestigious global tournaments:
S.L. Rakshathra – 3 Gold Medals at the Uzbekistan World Cup Kickboxing Championship 2025, held in Tashkent from October 7–12.
Ashwin Suresh – 2 Gold Medals and 1 Bronze Medal at the same championship.
M. Rahul – Bronze Medal at the Uzbekistan World Cup 2025.
Selvan. Jai Srinivasan – Bronze Medal at the 1st Thailand Kickboxing World Cup 2025, held in Bangkok from April 7–12.
These exceptional athletes will be recognized for their achievements during the KBSL event, reinforcing Tamil Nadu’s growing reputation as a powerhouse of Indian kickboxing talent.
